I am a supervisor at a dispatch center which helps conduct Emergency medical transports. I am currently an EMT-B and an active student at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In a previous life I've made pizzas, worked an assembly line, sorted mail, provided security, worked concrete, and managed an infantry platoon as a senior Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. My goal of recognizable authorship has yet to be realized.
My interest in the paranormal is mostly relegated to stories. I remain highly skeptical and expect to find answers when confronted with 'strange' situations.
When I'm not working I can be found enjoying a beer and a cigar while muttering incoherently over the Philco 46-1209 radio I have sworn to repair. Additional hobbies include purchasing books online and hiding them from my wife, reading said-name books incognito, and staying in touch with reality through the power of the internet. I have no television.
My family includes my talented and capable wife, and my toddler daughter. Two cats, Cortez and Ylena, serve as bookends of this motley crew. A fish was once counted among these others as family. It was inadvertently killed within three hours of ownership. This has caused all potential pets, which had previously submitted requests for housing, to quietly withdraw their names from the list.
